     The National Certification Body (NCB) is a certification body that issues nationally recognized certificates of conformity to electrical products. To become a member of the CB system, NCB's internal quality systems and technical capabilities must meet specific requirements. An NCB can be classified as an accredited NCB or an accredited/accredited NCB according to its qualifications.

Accredited NCB

     An NCB recognizes CB test certificates and CB test reports issued by other issuing NCBS as the basis for issuing its own national certificates and marks within a specific product area and standard.

      The NCB does not automatically have the power to issue CB test certificates.

Certification/accreditation of the NCB

      The issuing NCB, in addition to exercising the function of recognizing the NCB, has the power to issue CB test certificates within the criteria for which it is registered.

      Certification/Accreditation The scope of accreditation of the NCB may be greater than the scope of its certification. The scope of certification and approval is published in the relevant "Scope" area on the website.

      A CB laboratory (CBTL) is a CB accepted laboratory that conducts tests on one or more product categories and issues CB test reports under the responsibility of a specific NCB. A CB lab can work with different NCBS in a CB framework, but when it works with multiple NCBS, testing for a defined product category (e.g., OFF) can only be done with one NCB.

Certificate report

The CB report is a standardized report that enumerates the requirements of the relevant IEC standard in an itemized list. The report provides the results of all required tests, measurements, validations, inspections and evaluations, which should be clear and unambiguous. The report also includes photos, circuit diagrams, pictures, and product descriptions. According to the rules of the CB system, the CB test certificate is valid only when it is provided together with the CB test report.

Application certificate

Regarding the application of CB test certificate, the following points should be noted:

Applications for CB test certificates may be submitted by the applicant to any "Certification/Recognition" NCB covering the product range.

- The applicant can be either the manufacturer or an entity authorized to act on behalf of the manufacturer.

- The application may include one or more factories producing the products in one or more countries.

- Applicants/manufacturers/factories located in countries without IECEE member institutions are required to pay an additional fee of CHF 150 per CB test certificate to cover the operating costs of the system. This fee is charged by the NCB that handles the CB test certificate application and will be credited to IECEE's account.

- The applicant may request the NCB to test the product according to national differences in the country to which the product is sold.

For manufacturers to obtain product certification for the target market, the following procedures are involved:

- Application submitted to the NCB of the target country;

- CB test certificate;

- CB test report (may include country differences);

- Provide product samples to the NCB of the target market when requested.

The purpose of requesting samples is to verify that the product is consistent with the product for which the NCB test was originally issued and that national differences have been covered.

National differences

National differences are the differences between a national standard and the corresponding international standard. The national differences of all countries participating in the CB system are submitted to the IECEE Secretariat and published in the CB Bulletin.

Enterprises that obtain cB test certificates are conducive to the export of electrical products for homes, offices, workshops and similar places "directly related to personal safety, such products in some countries to implement mandatory certification, that is, after obtaining the country's certification certificate, they are allowed to export to the country and sell in the country's market." Even in countries that do not implement mandatory certification, consumers are willing to buy certified products with certification marks for their own safety. Therefore, large department stores only sell certified products, and the price is higher than the uncertified products, just as China sells power tools to Hong Kong businessmen, they obtain CB certificate products than uncertified products, the price of each more than 2 US dollars, certified products can protect the user's personal safety, easy to sell and the price is relatively high, in addition, Enterprises selling uncertified products also bear the risk of compensation for losses, once judged due to the product to the consumer's personal or property losses, enterprises have the responsibility to compensate. This kind of accident will bring negative consequences to our country in the international market, and such products will be difficult to find customers in international trade. As a result, not only did they suffer financially, but they also lost credibility. How to obtain the certification certificate of the importing country, you can use two procedures to obtain the certificate: the first procedure is that the product has obtained the CB test certificate, use the certificate with the CB test report to apply to the importing country's certification certificate; The second procedure is that the product has not obtained the CB test certificate, directly apply to the importing country's certification certificate, if the second procedure is used, the applicant first has to send the sample to the designated testing laboratory in the country according to the number of samples prescribed by the national certification body of the importing country, and pay the test fee. After the sample test is qualified, the country's national certification body sent inspectors or commissioned China's detection station to review the quality assurance ability of the applicant enterprise, after the review, you can obtain the country's certification certificate, use their logo, if the first procedure is adopted, The applicant only needs to send the obtained CB test certificate and CB test report (the well is accompanied by the test results of the different items proposed by the country) to the national certification body of the country, without sending samples or only sending individual samples for review, you can recognize the test results, and finally the national certification body of the country's quality assurance ability of the factory is reviewed and qualified, you can obtain the certification certificate. The logo of the country's certification body may be used. Comparing the two procedures, it is clear that the first procedure is simpler and more economical than the second. After obtaining the CB test certificate issued by the China Electrical Products Certification Commission, the Chinese enterprises apply for the certification certificate of the national certification body of the CB system member states; Economical and time-saving.
