Negative ion air cooler is a new concept of fan that combines multiple functions such as air supply, cooling, heating, air purification, humidification, etc. It uses water as the medium and can send out wind equivalent to water temperature in a short period of time, both cold and warm. Compared with electric fans, negative ion air coolers have more humidification function, but their power is much higher than traditional fans, around 60-80W, but much lower than air conditioning. Very affordable in terms of price. But after all, it cannot cool itself and needs to be continuously injected with water at the required temperature to continuously provide the required temperature of air. Therefore, it is quite inconvenient to use it. For example, in summer, when the indoor temperature is 30 ℃, filling the negative ion air conditioning fan with 1 ℃ of water can provide cold air for about half an hour. After half an hour, the water temperature inside the unit will be assimilated by the room temperature. Therefore, it is important to be careful not to add too much water at once, and to add small amounts multiple times.
Below are several maintenance methods for air conditioning fans:
1. Horizontal placement
The negative ion air coolers should be placed horizontally and not tilted. Before use, check whether the socket power supply is consistent with the parameters on the fan nameplate.
2. Frequently adding water
New units or negative ion air coolers that have been out of use for a long time must be filled with clean water before use. The water level can be observed through a water gauge to control the amount of water added. Before adding water, unplug the power plug to prevent damage to electrical components. The water level to be filled should rise to a level close to the "high" position, and should not be too full; After filling with water, close the door and pay attention to the condition of the water gauge when using it for refrigeration. When the water level drops to a near "low" position, it should be replenished with water, otherwise the refrigeration effect will be lost.
3. Frozen ice crystals
Generally, negative ion air coolers are equipped with two ice crystals. Every night, one of them is stored in the refrigerator at home for a period of time, and the next day it is taken out and used in the water tank for better results.
4. Proper humidification
If you want to use refrigeration, humidification, and air supply, you must first fill the water tank with clean water, and start working for about 1-3 minutes.
5. Swinging air supply
Generally, negative ion air coolers have a left and right swing air supply function. When swing air supply is needed, simply press the "Wind Direction" selection button once to turn on the "Swing Air" indicator light, that is, immediately automatically supply air left and right, with a supply angle of 120 degrees. If swing air supply is not needed, press the Wind Direction selection button again to turn on the "Directional Air" indicator light, and then stop swinging the directional air supply. At the same time, the upper and lower air supply positions can also be adjusted. For example, adjusting the direction of the long air guide by hand can make the air supply direction all downward or upward, and adjust to the ideal position according to your needs.
6. Maintenance and cleaning
If the negative ion air cooler is not used for a long time, the water in the water tank should be cleaned thoroughly, and air should be supplied at room temperature for a period of time to completely dry the inside of the unit, especially the filter screen, and then covered with plastic bags for reuse.
After long-term operation, it is recommended to clean the negative ion air cooler every two weeks.
The method is as follows:
(1) Unplug the power supply;
(2) Loosen the screws and remove the rear cover;
(3) Pull out the connector and remove the filter and rear cover together;
(4) Mix detergent and water to an appropriate concentration;
(5) Place the filter screen and rear cover into a container, wash for 10-15 minutes, then replace with clean water for cleaning.
Do not immerse the small motor in water or rinse it with water;
(6) Reinstall the filter and rear cover back into their original positions.
